Goldfame Group also plans to jointly develop a tax-free industrial park near the factory with the government to assist more businesses in settling and establishing themselves in Cambodia.
The factory boasts state-of-the-art equipment, including an independent product testing laboratory, sewage treatment facilities, and a hospital on-site. The government has also established a human resources department within the factory. To ensure sufficient power supply, Goldfame Group has built its own power plant within the factory compound. Furthermore, to meet the wood fuel needs for power generation, Goldfame Group have even purchased Cambodian primary forestland equivalent to the size of 11 Hong Kong islands.
Established in Cambodia in 1996, Goldfame Group now operates 9 knitting sweater factories. Notably, Cambodia's largest Hong Kong-funded real estate group, Urban Hub, is also an affiliate of the Goldfame Group.
