Congratulations to the organizer of "The 9th Asia Pacific International Honesty Enterprise-Keris Award 2010" .The theme is most appropriate, meaningful and very current. This is my forth time writing the message for this award since its inception 8 years ago, as i believe in the theme:” Honesty and integrity”-this is something that is close to my heart.

Honesty is the vital indicator of good corporate governance. An entrepreneur or company's most valuable possession in today's business world is not money, products or facilities. It is reputation that matters most. It is too easy to compromise our principles to get the deal or to make that lucrative sale, but in the end, those unethical decisions can destroy our business. According to the “Forbes” magazine in the United States, the world's top 500 corporate - the corporate exemplars, the reason why they are what they are today, is inseparable with their value of insisting “Honesty in Business”.

The Asia Pacific International Honesty Enterprise-Keris Award as the name speaks for itself, continues to provide an excellent platform to recognize and reward the outstanding Asia Pacific's entrepreneurs who had demonstrated honesty and integrity in their business. I would like to comment the organizing committee for their hard effort and ongoing commitment in making this possible for nine consecutive years in a row.

I would like to extend my heart-felt congratulations to all the winners. However, we should bear in mind that this achievement is not the end. I sincerely hope that the award-winning companies will continuously uphold the value of honesty and credibility, and I am certain you will create another miracle.
